My today’s post is about how I carry ethnic wear on daily basis and I’m going to give you few tips about how to look simple yet stylish.
When it comes to wearing an ethnic outfit for a day out, or any formal meet, I just go for a kurta, and love to experiment what goes best with it, whether palazzo, churidars, pants,or salwar? I opt the one which would make me stand out and give me the desired look.
We Indians kinda Love wearing ethnic attires, but sometimes we tend to look too boring in it and sometimes we end up adding lot of bling to it.
Well, I like to keep it elegant, classy and stylish at the same time. I don’t know why, but overdoing with accessories makes me so uncomfortable.
I don’t think that overdoing makeup or accessories makes you look more attractive. Instead, I Love to keep it simple and classy.
For me classy is something that is elegant and eye catching at the same time.
Its a myth that you can look classy only while wearing Expensive outfit. No girls, all what matter is what are you wearing and how you carry it.
Here are few tips about how to look classy while wearing inexpensive clothes:
1. Choice matters:
What color you choose and quality of fabric.
Make sure you go for eye soothing colors (Like beige, baby pink, bright yellow),and fabric be soft and comfortable enough for you.
And take care of any thread coming out of your attire or any stain.
Wear accessories that would go well with the outfit, but don’t wear too much of it.
Like if you’re wearing bangles with a kurta, there is no need to wear watch at the same time.
Your makeup should be attractive, but avoid shimmery products. Matte is trending all around, go for matte lipsticks, or matte eye shadow. Smokey eyes is in trend, you may go for it.
4. Color Combinations:
the color combinations you are choosing should be complimenting each other rather than competing.
For example: if you pair black plazzo with yellow kurta, it will make the outfit look too much showy or unattractive.
On the other hand, when you pair white with yellow, it will compliment each other and will look very soothing to eyes.
